Viewing 2015 Virtual Conference Recordings

Information on this Page

Your Video Account Info

Everyone who signed up for the virtual conference for either real-time access during the AHEAD conference, or purchased on-demand access to the videos after-the-fact, has been set up with an account on our Adobe Connect server, the location for viewing the conference videos. If you have registered for either of these options and have not received an email from our Connect system with login information, you can still log into the system using your user name (your user name is your email, the one you provided when you registered for the Virtual Conference or for on-demand access to the videos) and your temporary password is "AHEADV2015." You will be prompted to change your password once you log into our Connect server.

Accessing Videos

The links to all the videos are listed below. You can view the conference videos by selecting the link provided under each title. After selecting any of videos you will then be taken to our Connect server to enter you username and password. Once you are logged into our Adobe Connect server you should not be re-prompted for your login during the current session or if you come back to the list of sessions and select another video.

Which Videos Can I Watch?

You can watch any videos that you had access to during the live event or which you purchased for on-demand access. For example, if you registered or purchased only pre-conference access, you will only have access to the pre-conference videos. Likewise with accessing the virtual main conference. If you registered for both the pre-conference and both tracks of the main conference, you will be able to access all the recordings. If you find you do not have access to a recording included in your registration, email Howard Kramer for assistance.

Connect Player Accessibility

Adobe Connect is screenreader accessible, more or less, although access can sometimes be cumbersome and some controls on the player, such as the control for advancing the timeline, are not accessible by the keyboard. For those using screenreaders, we suggest consulting the following tips for accessing the Connect interface.

Captioning

All the sessions during the Virtual Conference were captioned using real-time captioning. These captions are shown in the caption pod during playback of any of the session recordings. The size and location of the caption pod cannot be changed during playback.
